This week's Table Rock Lake fishing report
Fall transition pushes Table Rock bass into creeks following shad
Week of seasonal outlook with this week's weather
We do not have any fresh reports from the water this week, so we need to rely on the typical November patterns for Table Rock. This time of year is all about the fall turnover and the shad migration. Threadfin and gizzard shad are moving out of the main lake and pushing into the creeks, and the largemouth, spotted bass, and smallmouth are right behind them.\n\nYou will want to focus your search on humps and long gravel points, especially in the James, Kings, or Long Creek arms where the bait tends to stack up. Walking topwaters are a reliable choice early in the morning or anytime you spot fish busting on the surface. When the topwater bite slows down, transition to throwing spinnerbaits around chunk rock banks and standing timber. If the fish are holding deeper off the ends of those points or on offshore humps, dropping a spoon into the schools of shad is the best way to trigger a strike.\n\nFor this weekend, start your mornings looking for surface activity on long points with a walking bait. If they are not looking up, keep a spoon tied on and rely on your electronics to find the bait balls pushing into the creek arms.
